THE STAINLESS STEEL QUALITY

The stainless steel is a kind of steel with a high density of chrome, that oxidizing with oxygen, due to a chemical reaction, turns into chrome-oxide, thus avoiding further oxidations. From this chemical reaction comes the particular property of stainless steel: the quality of preserving from rust in case of exposition to common external agents like air, water and other chemical agents.
This characteristic makes stainless steel irreplaceable. Just think about the nautical, the chemical and the oil sectors, or about all those situations where there is a high risk of corrosion.
Stainless steel is compulsory in the food industry, in order to preserve hygiene and taste, and has become even important in the production and conservation of wine. The mechanical resistance of stainless steel screws should also be considered, thanks to modern stamp-technologies, screws reach the highest levels of endurance (UGIVIS has class 80 as standard of production), which makes it possible to use stainless steel for heavy structural and mechanical strains. The maintenance of stainless steel is much easier, and the initial investment cost turns into an advantage over the years.
Even from an aesthetic point of view, stainless steel stays clean and bright, avoiding the ugly rust spots.
